I was searching the interwebs for a long time last night, but I just could not get any straight, updated answer on this issue.

I have a '15 MCS R57 with MINI Connected/Nav and I just want to know which Snap-In Adapter to purchase for my iPhone 5S. I am looking for the same functionality (music/MINI connected) as when I have the Y-Adapter plugged into the USB/Line-In port.

Just wanted to update this thread and state that I received my snap-in adapter and it works great! Charges my iPhone 5S, plays music straight from there, has a built-in cooling fan so the phone can breath inside the tight compartment, and works fully with MINI Connected !!

Only drawback is that even with my Incipio Feather case, the iPhone has no chance of fitting in there so I just pop the case off when I want to use it.

Thanks MINI Parts Mass for recommending the correct snap-in adapter! I can take a pic of it if anyone cares.

Now I am just curious if my music videos will play on the navigation screen.
