Hi Folks ! ..Im Backkkkkkk ...lol been quite a few years since my 2004 Mini Cooper S i use to own .... Yesterday i just purchased a Beautiful low mileage 2006 Mini Cooper S 6 Speed Manual ...only 31,000 miles !! ....Very cool color called Royal Grey Metallic ...looks like a greenish/bronze in sunlight with a silver roof and silver sideview mirrors ..very classy .......Really wanted to get one with the Harmon Kardon Stereo upgrade and this one has it ..PLUS as other great options i wasnt expecting but was happy to have them ...lol ....This one happens to have Navigation ....actually used it on my 277 mile trip back home...never had a car with this so i already like it .....Has the LSD option ..The Dual Panoramic Sunroofs , Cold weather Package , Sport package with Xenon Lights ,Fog light and interior lighting package ...as i was driving home it was getting Dark and the lights came on automatically ...was a nice surprise ..Auto Climate Control ,Rain Sensor Wipers ,Auto Dip Rear View Mirror , Universal Remote System ( i dont have a garage so no use for me ..lol ) Chrome Line Interior ...Leatherette seats , but im glad to have them because easier to keep clean and more durable than the Leather Mini Seats ...loving that Burble and Pop from the Exhaust !!! I think im going to enjoy this 06 better than my 04 ....the Shifts were soooooooo smoooooth ...im glad they changed the gear ratios in the 05 and 06 models ....Here are some quick crappy pics from my cell phone of my new addition ...Once the weather gets warmer i will post some better pics in the "Royal Grey Metallic Owners Thread".....

 

Gorgeous color those royal grays, I agree the gear ratios really change the car.

Yes, if it says Sperrdifferential on the build sheet you have the LSD. What is the build date on your car? My car is Oct/19/05.

 

Beautiful car! The Royal Gray in the pictures reminds me of Thunder Gray. Are they close? I have never seen the Royal Gray in person.

Lovely MINI. I thought I got a '06 MCSc with low mileage in 2009... it had 28k. But only 31k in 2015, man what the heck did the previous owner do? Did he/she take the car for a stroll around the block every other weekend?

LSD & HK... these are my fav features on my MINI. The soft top comes in 3rd.

RG rocks!!! You have to live in Germany to appreciate their talent for mixing beautiful greys. Believe it or not, it's the d.a.m.n depressing weather. Ireland has its 40 shades of green while Deutschland has its 100 shades of grey.
