Just got the call that my car has finally been ordered! Went to the Owners Lounge and discovered that my baby is being produced on Friday, 12/13 -- should I consider this a lucky or unlucky sign?

And by the way, when does the "Can't Wait for January Club" start? Count me in!

 

Guessing you mean Dec.13th? That'll be my B-day. Never had any bad luck on those dates. Thirteen is my lucky number. It's all the other days that turn on me. Being that I've been having relative good luck on Friday the 13th's, I'll send some lovin' over seas to your MINI to protect it. How does that sound?

Friday morning is pretty good day... everyone is happy because they don't work tommorrow... Friday PM, maybe not quite so good. Worst case scenario, Monday everyone comes in with a hangover.

That will be my wife's birthday December 13, maybe if I could have gauranteed her the car would be built on her birthday she would let me buy it! Still driving her insane with MINI sitings and readings in her email constantly.

Someone here in town has a new silver one as it still had window stickers a friend of mine saw it and called me.

 

Our car get's built on 12/20/02.This is the Friday before Christmas.Hope everything get's put where it needs to be.You know what they say about the Monday-Friday thing.Look at it this way,you will most likely get your car before we do.So,enjoy.I am sure everything will be fine. jaydawg ebb all 3 pkgs

My estimated production date is Friday the 13th too! Yikes! I'm not really superstitious, but...

 

I'm a Friday the 13th build as well. All I can say is Friday the 13th been berry berry good to me. Cant Wait.

 

Have no worries about the production date. It is the estimated date that MINI gives, but most cars will finish earlier that week. My prod. date was a friday, but the MINI was finished on Wednesday. Just call ASK-MINI during that week and they can tell you what phase of production your car is in (ie. paint shop). And to echo the others, "any day a MINI is born is a good day."

 

Heh I PICK UP my MINI on Friday the 13!! ahaha soo i will wish all those new babies back across the pond a hppy birthday as i take my first spin :smile:

Well, I just checked my MINI's status and it's now "Awaiting Transport". Looks like I just made it before Friday the 13th!

Do I find out what ship is on when it is "En Route"? Does the owner's lounge provide this information?
