I've been looking at buying the factory Rally/Driving lights but every
American site is selling them for about $375 or up!! My wife started looking
around for my birthday and found a site minispares which is selling them for 120 pounds (approx $189 US) plus 27 pounds
shipping ($45 for two day service) so she was able to buy them and have them
shipped for $234!!! I'm going to start searching the Europe sites to find
other discounts!

I can buy from my dealer in Germany for ...Let me look up the price...216 Euro Euro to dollar is 1 to 1 now. Plus I take 16% off for being tax exempt.

Cheers

Won't the light output be metric, causing a sever drop in visability over our imperial based system?

Metric Lite ... is that a course we can take to learn how to use it?

If he got them from the UK, he would get Imperial light, which is larger than US standard. He should expect to get more light for his buck.

The aftermarket rally lights I've seen all feature an add-on switch to be stuck somewhere unobtrusive in the driver's cockpit. Is there any reason why you couldn't wire them into the unused (in the US) sixth toggle-switch slot?

Make sure you order the LH drive driving lights, too....
(only "half" in jest; the lenses for L&RH drive cars for the MAIN lights can be different!)
