Hello All,

I have been on the hunt for a clean JCW for my wife's replacement vehicle for some time now. Came across this car online and from a distance (actually a far one) everything seems to good to be true. Has all the features we are looking for (except NAV!) heated seats, must be a JCW and ideally in Pepper White. The car is about a 2 hour drive away which isn't bad to go check out, and I've been in communication with the dealer selling it. BUT - there is a catch.

I paid for the carfax report on this car - sold at Otto BMW in West Chester PA to someone from DE. Then I was serviced ONE TIME at European Performance in Wilmington DE at 71k miles. Absolutely no other service records and the dealer cannot provide me anything.

I have called OTTO BMW as well as European Performance to ask about records and I am awaiting a return call. I want to know if the all important timing chain and tension was replaced, if the vaccum pump was replaced, oil pan leak, etc. All the standard issues with an 06-10 MCS that we are all aware of. I am almost hesitant to roll the dice.

I was hoping this forum would recognize the car because of the distinctive ACS wheels that are on the car perhaps the owner was a member here or someone may recognize it. If you could help a fellow enthusiast out it would be greatly appreciated! We really want this to be the one!
