What are my chances? Ordering close to invoice?
What are my chances? Ordering close to invoice?
I'm located in Iowa and I'm looking to order a Countryman All4. I've done tons of research and it looks like most people are able to get close to invoice price on their purchase.
We've only got one dealer in the state and he's telling me that they don't typically discount ordered cars. I know usually the dealer would be at an advantage to have a customer order a car because they wouldn't have any fees tied up in inventorying the car.
Has anyone had success getting a great price on an ordered car?
Anyone in the Midwest? My dealings with Mini of Des Moines haven't been the most productive.
I'm not afraid to drive to Minneapolis, Madison, Omaha, Kansas City or elsewhere.
Thanks
Jared

best recommendation is to use like a Bj's or Costco dealer to get the close to invoice price. Mini dealers are fickle, if they have a car they are sitting on, then they are more apt to deal otherwise its like they have a gold plated *****, they dont mind showing you one, but ordering...naaa.lol
I dunno about today, but back the last time I bought, MOST folks ordered their cars and few bought off the lot. That's kind of the MINI thing .... MILLIONS of combinations so you can make it yours . . .
