I have a broken plastic piece on one of my rear window regulators. I can't seem to find the piece for sale anywhere though. Was wondering if anyone could provide some direction or if I will have a buy a new regulator?

The first picture is the regulator from my wife's '05 R52. On the left side in red you can see that I'm missing the plastic "guide" piece.

The second pic from realoem doesn't even show the hardware connecting the window to the regulator. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/diagrams/w/g/230.png

The rest of the regulator and even the motor seems to be in great shape... is there a way to purchase this single piece somehow?

It isn't shown in the RealOEM diagram, but it looks like it is included with item 11 (part # 51377201455, "mounting parts set").

rkw , thanks for the link. There is a tool from MINI that makes it easy to rear those sprockets in the slim area for the R52 convertible. Great for adjusting / aligning the window to the front window. Also works on all the front door windows.
