Does anyone know how to access the bulbs in the visor? I'm stumped! I want to swap them out for LED bulbs. Not urgently, obviously, but I dislike incandescents, and am disappointed that there are any in the car (boot, glovebox and visors), given that the rest are stock LED bulbs. Swapping out the extremely hot, dim boot lamp was the best thing I did!

 

I am in the same boat, I've replaced all my lights with LEDs except the visors and I hate them. ECS told me that in order to replace the visor bulbs, you must replace the entire visor, therefore there is no LED option for them. If you figure this out, please let me know!

 

Those visors/lights were a POS in my R56. The covers fell off (I superglued them shut) the lights would stay on. So glad no visor lights on my Coupe.

 

If the lights were LED, I would almost believe this, but since they're not, I find what he told you to be extremely unlikely. Besides, you can plainly see that they reside right beneath the translucent covers. They're not installed by magic, so there must be a way to remove the diffusers.
