Minis in the Heart of Texas - 2015 Jan 3rd

Hello everyone! this is the second year of Minis in the Heart of Texas, an event that last year brought together MINI owners from all over the state totaling about 160 people!

This year will be even bigger, with more groups coming from even farther away.

Minis in the Heart of Texas will be replacing the Waco Run Lunch down in Waco. The Waco Run, will now be the drive to the event.

For this second year we hope to break 200 people. Stilll just a 1 day event, but hoping the event grows as more people attend.

This Jan, the event we will in Waco, and thank you to our good friends with the Waco MINI club, they are handling the event lunch, since they know their town best.

Also the Minis in the Heart of Texas will be a club sponsored event, and I am hoping the other clubs in Texas will join with us to equally make this event a success. This is about bringing all of us together and having fun, the January date assures that we should not be conflicting with any other major event, on the mini calendar. It also may help us meet with other people around the state and country. This year we are expecting more MINIUSA participation and even some surprises.

Please feel free to share your thoughts. This thread will be modified with updated info as it comes up.

(note: the Waco run drive to the event will continue to not be a club sponsored event)

This was my first event with Mini folks and it was great! I did feel younger than the majority (30) but oh well. There were a lot of passionate Mini owners of all ages.
