New to MINI world
How is doing guys, I am Aaron Donnelly, a US postal worker, and have been a fan of the MINI's aesthetics for a long time, recently got to drive one, was sold, and am picking it up on tuesday. Mine will be a 2005 S convertible w/ Metallic blue paint, and manual transmission.

One question for you seasoned veterans out there. I am not a HUGE fan of the XL center Speedo in the MINI. Now the question, Can I get something like this " http://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-Mini-Co...06dd54&vxp=mtr "
into my 2005 s Convertible?
and replace the speedo, with this " http://www.crutchfield.com/p_110VX70...en-VX7020.html "
Or similar?
Any advice is appreciated. Shift On!

First off, welcome!
Secondly, none of your links work (at least for me).
When I got my MINI, AI was not a fan of the HUGE speedo, but I have since learned to ignore it and at times even use it when the steering column speedo is obscured by the steering wheel during the twisties. I spent a lot of time researching alternatives and the short answer is, unless you are willing to spend a lot of time and money (in the $1K range), its not worth it to try to swap out the center speedo. It is not an easy DIY because you have to rip apart the whole dash to remove it. Once you get on the track or start having fun with your MINi, that speedo will begin to shrink
