Headlight washer door missing

Just the other day I noticed that the door for the headlight washer is missing...
Never did understand exactly how these work...https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...s/confused.gif and now I have to replace this small chrome piece.
Any idea where to find a replacement?
Anyone want to explain how these washers work?
Thanks.
Great forum by the way....

They pop out and spray the lights every third time you use your windshield washer, I think.

Seems it was an option with xenon headlights, but not all owners selected it.

Hey, I had the same problem last week... I think they broke it at the car wash... Just went to mini and bought the original for 10$... You can find a similar on on Amazon. Just make sure spathe side you need because those are different from left to right.

Thanks, Plfnd.
I'll go by the dealer to see if they have it in stock. I would go to Amazon but have no idea what to call it....
Love the forum.
Best to all!

Had one of these go missing on my MINI, I have no idea where or why. Bought the cover only to discover the end of the washer was missing about 1/2" off the end. Ended up buying the washer too. Pretty easy to swap it out. All told it was about $70 for the parts.

Bought them here... http://eminiparts.com/ Great folks to deal with.
