Does any one know is the anthracite head liner option provides a solid sunroof screen vs the mesh? If you dont get the anthrocite then do you get a mesh screen.

 

I asked the same question a little while ago and received no answer. At this point, I think it is simply something that no one knows, including the dealers. I would assume that the Anthracite choice is just a choice of color, and that all the 2005 mini's will have either a solid or mesh sunroof shade. I assume they are switching to the solid shade, but who knows? If there was a difference in shade or mesh, they would probably list it as such, so I assume it is just a color thing.



All these little questions should be answered soon as the 2005's start arriving in England. Already they have confirmed that the new radio plays MP3's. Now we are looking out for LED taillights, sunroof shades, and other little things.

anthrocite headliner(4AA):
This option includes the A,B &C pillar casings, the head liner, all sun visors, all grab handles and the housings and switches for the internal lights.
There is no mention of a solid sun screen vs a mesh.

 

Just found out that the Anthracite Headliner will not be offered or it will cost extra for MCS's produced after Sept 1st.
