Plz post torque specs for factory brake components?

Hoping to install my EBC Greenstuff brake pads soon, however am curious if anyone has the factory torque ratings for the procedure. I do not see it listed on any of the DIY's available online. Plus the Bentley manual is not available yet so I can't find out that way.

Thanks for any help. I am sure it will appreciated by others in the future as well.

Carvnit,

For the answer see this How to from the Perf mods forum under announcements- lots of How tos over there listed by categories.
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ead.php?t=6685

You will find the question was asked by cscholz-
"Do you have torque specs for the caliper bolts (both piston holder and pad holder parts) and the rotor retaining screw? Are front and rear torque specs the same?"
Answer by 8ball:
"Front :

disc to hub (torx) : 27 nm
caliper to steering knuckle : 110 nm
guide bolt (7mm) : 25-30 nm
dust shield : 8 nm

Rear :

disc to hub : 27 nm
caliper to trailing arm : 65 nm
guide bolt : 25-30 nm"

Thank you

Your prompt response is greatly appreciated minihune. I can't believe I overlooked that post from (cscholz) and response by(8ball). Now to remember to use the other side of the torque wrench!

I wonder why Randy or others don't have the specs included in their how tos?

Once again thanks minihune.

MINIHUNE is of GREAT HELP!!
when you do a pad change all you really undo are the guide screws (the hex bolts behind the plastic plugs) and 25-30 Nm is a good snug up with a hand wrench. Probably the reason no one bothers.....
