N14 Open Downpipe Sound. Its Loud!

Had to take off my catback to install a short shifter so here's what it sounds like with an open stock downpipe. It pops in first gear and sounds awesome. Too loud to daily drive for me but some people would consider it fine.

sounds good, if it traveled thru pipe and out the car im sure it wouldn't be as loud since it wouldn't be verberating throughout the underside of the car

This is the stock (catted) downpipe, with the 2nd cat and both resonators removed. There is nothing connected to the downpipe so that is where the exhaust ends.

Very Nice. Do you have a BOV of some sort? or is that just the intake?

Sounds like a @#$%ing tractor

I test drove with a similar setup after hookup up the replacement N14 engine earlier this year. It's loud, and only gets more so as you rev her north of 3K.

Will give you a headache after a ~10 mins of driving... but I supposed someone will get a kick out of that too ...

Really? So did you leave the tips hanging near the boot or is it just an empty space?

I'm not a fan of it, but all that matters is that you enjoy it.
