Anyone run Pirelli Cinturato P7s?

Hi,

I've been running 215/45ZR-17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus XLs for the last 2 or so years, but after about 40K miles and some dry rot, I'm going to be in the market for some new tires.

I'm mainly looking for these things:

1. Long tire life - These have a rating of 700, which is among the top so barring road debris/damage, these should last me quite some time

2. Performance in light snow/ice/rain - Moving to Germany and I'm taking her with me.

3. Still has decent grip... for an A/S.

I can read brochures and reviews but I'd like to know what you MINI folks think.

Thanks in advance!

As much as I would love to track the R56, my first love is motorcycles so I'll be taking that to the 'Ring.

Ta

Been fielding reports of their "being loud" on the highway...at least for Countryman owners.

I think I recall the Germans REQUIRE snowtires....
So snow performance might not matter....

I ran P7s on a Golf Mk6 - they were OK but nothing special (albeit better in the wet) than the factory Bridgestone RE050 they replaced.

For Germany you will need winter tyres, its mandatory as far as I know.

Thanks for the tip, gents. I'm still a ways out but it looks like I'll be getting winter tires on my stockers then.
