Is it possible to have an event...maybe just one event that isn't linked to Knauz or the far north suburbs. Maybe even promote an event at another dealer. Bill
Jacobs hosted a preview of the convertable this week and it didn't generate a single mention from the club. I can't be the only club member that lives in the western suburbs, or am I?

We would like to have events in other areas as well..
A big part of it is that those of us organizing the events live near, and are more familiar with the North Shore area (and dealer).
We have had events out at Patrick MINI, and recent events outside the North Shore:

If you have ideas for events, dealer information, or would like to help organize an event, please post here, PM or e-mail me at mailto:steve@chicagominiclub.com or feel free to contact any of the Chicago MINI Motoring club officers.
Thanks!

I visited the Chicagoland Mini Motor Club today at the Culver.
It was my first time there. Had a good time, people there are
quiet and really laid back; I liked the atmosphere.
Even won the best modded mini class.
I think it was my
illuminating coin holder that really pulled me ahead.
Thank you again Gabe.

bright blue LED, and a lithum battery.
I had to fabricate the switch because I've yet to find one that fits
between the ridge inside the cup. If I can find a sw, I'll do a write up
on its. It's really easy to make, actually.

I think we'd all be interested in doing more with the other two dealers and in fact we have plans coming up that do include Patrick this fall. We'd also love to work with Bill Jacobs and I'm sure we'll be planning something soon.

I live about 20 miles southwest of Joliet. I usually drive an hour and a half or more to the start of an event. I don't really like getting up as early as I have to, but it gives me a reason to do more motoring in my MINI!
