That's a small moose too. But glad the driver walked away unscathed.
Many moose/vehicle accidents in Alaska never end well. I think at last count, there have been about 60 since July 1st just in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. That number will be well over 300 by the time the count resets July 1st.
The Mat-Su valley covers about 24,000 Sq. miles and a few hundred miles of paved roads and LOTS of moose; about 14-15 thousand.
