17x8.25 ET25

Planning to change my stock wheels to XXR 530 17x8.25 ET25 with 215/45/17 Hankook Evo2 Tires. I have my R58 lowered using NM Springs and I'm afraid it might cause some rubbing. Will this be a problem? How far will the wheels stick out?

If anyone has a picture running et25 wheels please kindly share.

The XXR 530 wheels compared to OEM 17" wheels will be 7mm further away from the inner suspension and poke out 39mm more. Tire diameter will be 9mm taller.

The combination of taller and wider will decrease clearance a lot when used with a lowered suspension which you cannot adjust.

One option is to use 205/45-17 even though it is narrow for a 17x8.25" rim, at least it will not be so tall and not as wide on the extra wide rim.

You can also use some negative camber to tuck in the upper outer tire shoulder under the wheel arch or at least make it look closer to flush.

Look at your current wheels and tires and imagine a tire that is 9mm taller and pokes out 39mm more, will it clear the wheel arch? You can also take a dremmel tool and cut down the plastic arch where it rubs.

Ahhh thanks for the advice... After further thinking, I've decided to go safe and go for 17x7 et35.
