2008 Mcs with 77k miles on it Just did a thermostat on the car due to a P0128 code....reset the ECU to get rid of the permanent fault....now I'm getting the half power light on the tach. Everything was put back correctly no mixed up plugs nothing of that nature. I checked all of the intake tubes from the turbo to the motor no leaks anywhere also no vacuum leaks anywhere. Pulled the recirculation valve to make sure that the seal was not torn everything is fine. Drive the car with scan gauge running and it's only showing between 2- 2.8 pounds of boost. Is there anything else I could've possibly missed that would be causing this.
Thanks in advance for an help

There must be codes stored in the ECU - pull them (you have a reader you used to reset them the last time around), and trouble shoot from there.

you won't get boost in Limp mode, gotta read the codes.

That's just it....no codes are shown.
Nothing stored nothing pending. And when it comes on the only CEL I'm getting is on the tach and it's intermittent.
Regardless of whether the CEL is lit or not
I'm not getting full boost. Could it be a faulty wastegate?

Some codes can only be read by Mini dealers.

It's probably a BMW specific code. You can read them with BMWhat software and a smartphone.
