Is there anything I can do so it won't look like complete rusted crap after winter? Like any coating or wax I can put on? I tried googling for some answers but I get the most random results for kitchen equipment

 

I had a set that were very well prepped for winter and they still corroded. I've moved on and just buy the plastic chrome ones and replace them after old man winter has said his goodbyes. I find this a cheap and simple resolution and they always look great.
