Do a search. I've come across threads regarding roof rack installation before on here.

There are several good DIY articles here on locating the perforations in the rain gutter that need to be cut out. I've found after installing 2 of them that good eye sight and the right lighting helps a bunch!

Mike said it best. you have to catch them just right to find the cutouts. I found a car at a dealership to look at to get better understanding of what to look for. They are tricky to find.

Oem roof rack install is not difficult. A little tedious yes but mainly as I didn't want to scratch the roof. I watched the mini sessions video for help on install. The unscrewing until the feet popped out was key it did take some nudging though. However getting it back off was a whole new issue. To get the feet popped out once it was on took me two screw drivers for prying and leverage then some arguing. If there's an easier way I'd love to know it.

Yes, but employ the 'measure twice, cut once' technique on the rails.

Easiest way to find the mounting points is to take a bright flashlight aimed straight down into the rain channel. As your slowly moving down the line you can see the perforations. Once you find those insert the slim card and slightly pull towards you to find the vertical indentations. Then tear out.
