Anyone catch todays paper--Los Angeles Times, but I imagine must be national--with the Target Ad? They've got a chili red MC with a kid hanging out the window. There is a 4 piece luggage set being advertised for like $44 I think, but I seriously doubt it will all fit in the boot! At first I thought it was a Target version of the Samsonite MINI $500 set, but don't think so.

 

Yeah! Ha, the huge one will NEVER fit back there, let alone the other 3!!

I have another Target coupon flyer with a full sideways (passenger side) pic of a CR/W MCS with black mirror caps, black bonnet stripes and black rear roof spoiler. The trademark "Target Terrier" dog is sticking his head out of the sunroof and the car is full of Target shopping bags..


Pretty cool. It seems the MINI is becoming Target's car of choice for all of their advertaising materials.

 

OMG that's so funny! Great pic, but you're right, it'll never all fit with the seats up. Unless the kid is going to sit in the front seat... which isn't really legal due to the airbags.

BTW, I see 6 pieces - four on the ground, one over the shoulder of the woman, and it looks like the kid is holding one.

 

Obviously, the kid's driving the MINI. Mom is headed to the Excursion idling just off frame to load up the rest of that gear.

I don't think that fitting that whole luggage set would be a problem with the seats down...we'll leave the kid at grandma's.

Knowing how my wife packs for trips, I think weight would be the biggest issue.

 

Yup, must be national because I saw it in my local northern calif. paper too.

 

Too funny! Today I finally checked my mail today and what was waiting for me? The new Victoria's Secret catalog. As I was flipping through the pages a piece of chrome caught my eye..."wait, what was that?" Flip back..."well, how do you like that? It's a MINI!"...ahh...with a girl trying her best to look comfortable and alluring whilst her bum sitting on the hood scoop :? of what looks to be a very nice all Chilli Red S.

Now if you boys needed any more of a reason to thumb sloooowly through this catalog...now you have an excuse to use. LOL! :shock:
