2004 Mini Cooper cold air intake on 2007 R56
Recently I got a good deal on 2004 Mini Cooper cold air intake. The thing was brand new and under $40 so I decided to buy it and see if it could be installed on my R56.
So basically my question is can this be done? I know they sell dedicated cold air intake systems designed for the R56, but could I install this cold air intake on my 2007 R56 nonetheless? Will it work? Will it negatively affect the car's performance?

Yes I could, but I got this one for $40, and the cold air intake for R56 retails for about $250.
