Hey peeps.. I just ordered an R58 JCW Coupe. I've been staring at photos of the car, I can't seem to figure out if the grill trim on JCW models is supposed to be silver or black.

I see on the configurator it shows silver, but so many real-life pics I've seen the trim as black. Does that mean people just replace it? Did some model years include the black trim? Was it an option?

I've seen on ecstuning one can buy the trim. I just want to know what the car has stock. I'm going white-silver / black roof thinking of doing the black trim for the headlights / tails / and grill.

 

Hmm I take it back. Doing a better google image search seems to reveal the trim is always chrome. I guess the pics I've seen are owners swapping to black trim.

 

Or, you could Pasti or Flexi Dip yourself for a fraction of the cost

 

Usually the JCW cars have the black trim, but it could depend on packages what it will actually have. If you want to change to the black we stock them.

Most have the chrome unless ordered, some that come with it are the WC50 ..GP2 for example. Or if you order the JCW Body kit with it and had the dealership install before delivery. Think chrome line exterior selected trumps it on order options.
