How to price car with bayswater package?

Just curious how I would go about valuing my car, it has the bayswater package. Seems most of the estimator sites only account for basic trim and options, so how would I determine a rough value?

Thanks

Curious to hear other people's opinions on this, but I think that you're probably unlikely to get much of a premium on either a trade-in or a sale (beyond a car with comparable options).

It's possible that you find an enthusiast who wants one, but that's really the same as saying "it's worth what you can sell it for."

Maybe some one else with have a different opinion.

Either way, good luck if you're selling.

Packages don't add "real" value to used cars beyond what options are included in the package (with the exception of the Goodwood). What they might do is sway the buyer to choose your car over another, everything else being the same.

Most of the "special edition" MINIs have been "tape and paint" specials, in that the ony real difference between them and a standard MINI is that a different color was available, and there may have been some unique stickers. People don't like to pay extra for that as a general rule. If your car is a unique factory color, it might be worth a few extra $$ to the right person, but finding someone who wants that one color will be harder.

The exceptions to this are cars like the GPs, which have actual different parts--especially ones that affect performance--and the Goodwood, which uses significantly different materials on the interior.

Or at least, that's my opinion on it...

as a recent shopper who considered the bayswater package cars because they were just about the only kite blue cars I could find for sale....I'd say they were priced directly in line with the rest of the R56 market.

..david (who got a GP instead)

See other Kite Blue MINIs as some are Bayswater package and not labeled as so, somtimes hard to find. You can see Bayswater on the side scuttle.

Good luck.

The most expensive parts was the mirror covers, scuttles were cheap.

Mine is actually midnight black, didnt realize that shade of blue was more sought after/harder to find... I love the package though. I'm really fond of the interior leather seats, I've never had leather so it doesnt hurt that my first ones are bayswater with that nice blue accent. I did see a brand new 2013 bayswater s at the dealer recently in auto and black and it was showing roughly 32,000 for the sticker price, I think they were trying to clear it out for 28,000.00

I bought mine with 9K miles on it for 23,400 and thought it was pretty fair?

back when I considered selling my '10 Camden, it didn't fetch anything for consideration on trade-in.

I'd look at how much more it was new, and apply that ratio to the price.

Which leads to another question I have, how do I go about seeing the price this car was new? I'm assuming I can contact dealership and have them run VIN? Or is there a way I can find that information?
