Was wondering if any of you guys know of any marks on cooper engines to Identify, I have one & need to sell, but do not actually know what type/year it is from.
Please help.

Each MINI produced engine has an ID tag with a serial number that's on the left side of the engine block, just above the oil pan.
That's going to tell you everything you need to know.

Looks like an n18 due to the fact of the forward facing PCV port on the valve cover ( forward facing as if it was installed in car ) Can't tell much more like what year or anything like that Sent from my iPad using NAMotoring

 

Okay, would u know if any of the codes on it would indicate the year/model?. :-/
