Have a 2007 MCS, that unfortunately did not get the cut concerning the steering wheel lock. A couple months ago, the light went red, but when I insert/remove the fob, the steering wheel locks and unlocks. I'm thinking that there isn't any serious issue here, considering the car runs perfect. I have read about the $1000 steering column job that MINI will want to do, or the $250+ code clear. Does ANYONE out there know how to get rid of this little red booger? I've tried everything that I can possibly think of, other than forking over that stack of cash. PLEASE HELP!😕
