Last month I took my S with Mini Connected in for its first oil change and they also flashed the the computer with updates. Ever since I let my Sirius trial lapse I never thought of toggling over to it. Then over Labor Day I was hoping for they're "free weekend" like they usually do but found out that I now have a basic service of about 40 channels like the 80s on 8, NASCAR, Soul town, News, etc.

However, if I scroll to First Wave or any other good station there's a $ sign next to it and when you select it, the screen changes to the subscribe now one.

Has this happened to anyone else?

 

SiriusXM is having a free promotion until Sept 8. Any non-subscribed receiver will be functioning until that date. Enjoy!

 

That's what I thought, but over the last holiday I was bombarded by promo commercials asking me to sign up, and they unlocked all the channels too. Oh well, i knew it was too good to be true.

Yay for First Wave! All I listen to.

 

Does First Wave show up on yours? If I select All Catagories and go all the way down to the bottom there's a listing that says Unsubscribed. In that heading all the good ones are there with a $$ sign next to it.
