HPFP issue after flashing tune(suddenly gone??)

Good morning. I don't think i've posted here yet, i've had my 07 since January, it's been a blast to drive.

The car came with the Alta/Cobb Accessport. I've been running it on the stage 1 non-linear/linear TPS since then. During the summer temps I kept getting the annoying boost cut that's apparently par for the course for the canned tunes, without an upgraded intercooler. Anyway I finally had a minute yesterday and got around to flashing it back to stock tune. Followed the prompt, no issues during flash.

Here's the problem. About 30 secs after startup I noticed the engine revved slower than normal, but was smooth. Pull out and noticed there was zero boost. None. CEL came on and I pulled into the first turn and shut the engine off.

CEL was throwing "p2880 - high press system min" Started again and idled fine for 30 secs then felt the idle abruptly drop to 0.5k, got really rough. Check engine light went on again. Felt like it was probably running on 3 cylinders. I shut off the engine and flashed back to the tune I had been running, same thing. At this point I could feel my wallet begin shivering in my back pocket. Flashed back to stock, felt sluggish but was smooth again. I had to get home so I pulled out cautiously. Unfortunately I was in a hilly area with no shoulders and the car started burping and gurgling. Barely had the power to make it up the hill. Finally pulled into the next place and shut it off.

Sat for about a half hour googling stuff, decided to try again since I had to get home at least, whether it was limping it or calling a tow truck. Cranked the car, no CEL, smooth idle. Gave a few test revs, was ok. Drove cautiously through the parking lot, seemed ok. Decided to drive home. Engine was 100% responsive, full power, no CEL, zero problems. Had to go somewhere a half an hour away and since I work night's i'd rather break down in the daytime than after midnight in a sketchy area. So I cautiosly made the drive, no problem. Drove in to work tonight, no problem.

Any ideas what happened here? I'm guessing the fuel pump, or whatever controls it in the ECU wasn't fully initialized or in some wonky state after the flash. Either way reflashing did not fix it, it definitely fixed itself after some cool down and power cycle. Is this possibly a precursor of the should-have-been-recall HPFP going out? I couldn't find any references to something like this happening while flashing tunes, and i'm paranoid to ever try it again. Beyond that i'm curios and wondering if I need to anticipate a failure in the next few months. I have had zero engine trouble in the 6 months of daily driving to work & school.

Car and engine mods:
2007 S
38k miles
Cobb/Alta AccessPort
Invidia cat back exhaust
Alta BOV
Alta Intake
Alta charge pipe

Original HPFP - that I know of.

Thanks in advance everyone.
