Hopefully they sell them black and textured so you won't have to try and color match them to the rest of the trim

haven't really looked in my fenderwells...I assume these will actually allow for more aggressive offsets without tires rubbing on something?

Look nice. Wonder what the pricing will be. These are going to be necessary to run any halfway aggressive width and offset wheels. Wonder how many mm's this adds

It adds something, which is better than the flat vertical surface that they have stock.

Good job, I'd like to see them in the wild.

I really like the look...will wait for $$$ to justify adding them.

Ah man, if Duell is selling them I'm sure it'll be like $1k for all 4.

That's my concern... Hopefully they are under 500 for the set.. Hell even the OEM ones are cheaper.

And I like that they don't add too much width. I think about 20-30mm more would be perfect so you can run something wider but aren't forced to run some crazy 9 or 10 inch wide wheels to get it to look right

We have the Euro arches here. These are the ones without the side markers for a clean look.

One of the most striking appearance mods is having the black wheel arches painted body color. I think they have to be sanded first. Very few people have done it to their R56 but it looks freaking great. A lot better then these IMO and probably cheaper.

Revival:

I'm looking for wider arches to give me a more aggressive look. Any advice?

I will look into these later but like previously stated, I'm sure they be overpriced.

Anyone hear what happened to these? I'd think they'd sell like hotcakes for anyone looking to go with aftermarket wheels. There really aren't many options thanks to these shallow wheel wells. Another 10mm would make a huge difference in wheel selection. But I imagine the fender wells would have to be modified; they appear to hug the stock arches.

Anyway, visited the Facebook, and haven't noticed anything.

Yea, seen it. I really like it on the gen 1 MINIs w/ an aero kit.

I asked Duell AG about these a few weeks ago. They will be available in a couple months and add 1/2 inch clearance. I asked them for pics of the prototype they have on their Model car in Tokyo. I'm curious to see the inside because our cars have a metal arch frame behind the plastic wheel arch. You'd have to roll that frame in order to get more clearance. I think that's the reason why these have been in the making for so long. I'm very skeptical that simply adding these will give any added clearance, let alone 1/2 an inch. Price for all 4 will be in the 1300 to 1600 range from what I was told by their USA distributer. No thanks.

Why not buy the JCW Black band ?

Please don't forget to add the paintshop costs, the original look ( texture) you will never meet.

If you really want to drive "wilder offsets" you should choose the UK MINI Challenge
