Bms can tool vs DP CEL?

I have a can tool and have been pondering a highflow cat downpipe or Catless. How effective has your can tool been in preventing CELs? I have heard and read mixed reviews on the delete r but nothing first hand on the can tool.

Thanks

The BMS prevents the CEL. Other CAN tools can delete it. But the BMS Does not allow the DME to trigger a CEL.

The thing that turned me off to the BMS CAN tool is that it doesn't allow ANY CEL to be stored, not just the ones related to the cat / O2 sensor... So if something actually does go wrong you don't know about it. Correct?

Incorrect. I actually had other codes such as misfire, and the Limp Mode CEL while running it. The only code it blocks is the O2 sensor code that will set off the CEL without running a CAT. You actually have to set it up IOT block that specific CEL code from triggering.
