Whirring sound when depressing clutch

Whirring sound when depressing clutch
'02 R50. 91k miles. I've had this car since the 84k mark, so I don't know the tranny/clutch history. So, when I'm accelerating and depress the clutch, there is a "whirring" sound until the pedal is let up. Any ideas?

From: Perth West Australia in an industrial unit with my numerous cars.
Most likely throw-out or clutch release bearing
