Considering the purchase of a later model Justa R57. Has Mini updated these later versions so that all of their prior miscues are now fixed?
By miscues, I mean:
Timing chain failure
Vacuum pump, engine self destruct
Power steering pump
Thermostat issues
Aux Water pump issues (S models)
Clutch failures
Transmission failures
HPFP recall
Turbo line heat shield (S models)
Carbon build up in intake
Pre-mature convertible top failure
I'm looking at a Justa, to avoid some of thes issues all together. But I'm wondering if Mini finally got around to addressing all these failures.
Or, should I go with a low mileage, late year R-52 Justa?

I have had a 2011 R57 Cooper for 3 years. Nothing had failed in this except my water pump started making noise and they replaced the same day I brought it in. One of the most reliable vehicle I have owned and I have purchased 59 new card.
