I am picking our MINI up today..Liquid Yellow w/ sun roof and chrome w/CVT.
I was wondering if there is an extended warranty avalible(like Honda that has a 7yr. 100,000 extended Bumper to Bumper).

i extended my warranty to be 100K miles. I paid for it outright and didn't finance it therefore saving some $ by only paying for it "once".

My dealer offered me an extended warranty for about $2000. I mentioned that I had seen members on here saying that they had payed as little as $800-900. He didn't come down on the price at all. I declined it.

 

MINI does not offer an Extended warranty contract beyond 4 years/50K miles.. The only thing they offer is to extended your initial 3 year/36K mile free maintenance to one additional year for about $300-$400 more (A rip off).

If you want an extended service warranty contract your only option is to get one from an aftermarket extended warranty company.

Mini does have a few options but the best one if you dont drive alot of miles like my wife(around 7000 a year) we got a Unlimited Years 60,000 Bumper to Bumper which I thought was great sinc she will run out of years before miles.

By the way I love our MINI what a fun car to drive!!!

However the one-year add-on makes the clutch be covered for the entire 4 yrs. With standard warranty, clutch is not covered, as I inderstand it.
