A Tasteful Upgrade

I have a pair of the chrome ones on my wife's car. They are much better than the old halogen reflectors that she had. I would not recommend an hid kit as these projectors are e-code and not the standard step of us hid projectors. But with new halogen bulbs they are quite good. I'm planing on getting a black set for my car soon

Great! Yeah, I just ordered a new set of H7 bulbs from Amazon. I've not really ever messed with manual leveling lights. My 06 R53 has OEM HIDs. Now looking for a nice halogen setup for my 05. I don't really know what e-code is...I saw that on the ECS site.

Thanks! So dumb question, but is any modification necessary to install these in my 05 R53? I was reading that there are different "switch modes".

Plug and play. They do have auto levelers built in and manual adjustments as well. But if your car doesn't have xenons the auto levelers will be inactive. Not that I could ever see a reason to downgrade from xenons.
