my cooper S recently suffered a minor dent and the cost of repair was estimated @ $350. does anyone know how much a new painted and fitted hood costs as i would rather purchase a new hood if the difference is not too much. would appreciate any input!! thank!!

Hello I know how the dent must make you sick. As far as your question it would be my guess that a new/painted hood will far exceed the cost of your repair. Along these lines anyone ever seen any fiberglass body panels available for the Mini?

M7, a sponser here on NAM, makes a CF hood for $849.00 + S&H. I'll bet that is less than a new stock one and lighter by some 15 lbs.
