R50/53 Wheel Arch Light Help!

Wheel Arch Light Help!

Whats going on,
I am looking to purchase all 4 Wheel Arch Lights for my 03 Mini Cooper S.

I currently have the amber up front and red on the rear bumper.

I was wondering, where can I purchase new ones, Also do they have clear ones or white ones instead of being amber and red where can I purchase those.

Thanks!

P.S. That's not my car, just to show the Wheel Arch Light

those wheel arch lites are easy to find online just google them i found them for less than 10 bucs each on aftermarket not sure what the oem ones cost probably 10times that much knowing mini hehehe

The lights are not colored, that's the lenses. The bulbs are 2821, front and rear, available from any parts store. You'll have to take some of the fasteners out of the inner liner and peel it back to get access. Also check the connector; it may be corroded and require replacement also.

I believe the european models don't have the lights (different regulations).

I had one of mine get cracked and got a replacement from Atlantic British. I think they have all four in their catalog. You might also check ECS Tuning show is a site sponsor.

Yea, we have them here for front ( amber and the rear, and easy change if you want them working but to match the wheel arch a bit more is the Lamin-X film.

Possible in the future , the Lamin X looks good easy to apply for tint, blacked out , All Red or smoked look.

I need to repair my rear arch lights. The connectors are completely destroyed and I need new connectors. Any suggestions?

Here you go, I just did on of the rear sockets and wires.



#3, one per arch light. Check to make sure this is ok. The bulb inserts into this.

Then on the body side. 61138365340 x 1 per arch light

Then you will need to wire in the two new cables and socket plug.

61130005199 x 2 for each plug. Cut out the old one at the cables and leave enough room to wire in. These then slid into the back of 61138365340 all the way on the square head and then push the white clip closed to the side, ( Open in our pics ) . Then plug into 63138382104 w/ the bulb and you are done.

You are welcome. With those parts. One plug, light socket plug, and wires will do one corner. If you have another light on the other side bad , just get another set and etc.

clear ones are on Ebay for the "kinda" cheap. Some states will fail the car come inspection time if you don't have them at all... Which means you replaced the plastic to the Euro spec ones...
