Safety Features put to the Test

Saw this CM on a car carrier yesterday on I-75 going south in Ocala. Looks like it was totaled and auctioned off for parts.
Looks like all the airbags did their jobs and the cabin was intact.
Coincidently, I had just seen on the news how well the 2014 CM had done on tests with the IIHS.
Pictures were taken by my wife at 70 MPH from the passenger seat. Safety first!

These days I wouldn't be surprised to see somebody do a cheap fix and sell this for a quick profit.

Red mirror covers look salvageable in both cases. But it is good that the car does it's job.

I've looked at the structures in the front and it's understandable how the CM did well in the small overlap testing at IIHS. I can report that the CM is a very strong car and effective at protecting it's motorists...
