I have been cleaning the Mini for a road trip and I have noticed the gravel roads are destroying the gas tank skid plates. I have a front skid plate, but the holes in the gas tank skid plates collect all the mud.

Anyone sell real gas tank skid Plate?

I am taking in for service since we will be in a town with a dealer. I wonder if the plastic bits are covered under the maintenance LOL.

I suppose I will have to fiberglass them or get some real one fabricated.


They sure did not rally test the production models LOL

 

Guessing it's just the sweet plastic cover that covers the gas tank and if you find such a product that replaces it I am interested as well as long as it's not beefy I don't know how much more weight the poor countryman can take
