Cracked fog lights, anyone else?

Was just fiddling with my mini and happened to notice that both of my front fog lights have very large cracks that spiderweb across. Are anyone else's like this? I assume it's from rock chips and such but I didn't think it'd do they kind of damage.

Same thing here

My fogs have cracks, but no spiderwebbing yet. It doesn't surprise me with the horrible roads in nj. I'm just glad my driving lights haven't cracked yet.

Yup both are cracked. I figure some day if I find a good price on a set i'll replace them to keep up my car's looks.

Both are perfect on mine. How many miles on your cars?

14k, I've had fogs on previous cars(not minis) and never experience that. I touched the plastic and it felt very light and brittle, not so surprised after that.

I have seen the webbing and cracking on the early 07's Gen 2 from impacts.

You can get new ones here , there are Positions lights only and then Positions light / Fogs.

Positions light / Fogs. 63172751295

Position Light Only.

You could use Lamin-X Over the new ones to protect them in the future.

Thanks

Got my car washed and waxed at the dealer today, and the service guy noticed my fogs, took some photos and sent them to his boss, he said a 13 with the miles I have shouldn't have cracks like that, could be a factory defect. Maybe they'll replace them for free, either way I'm glad that they're going the extra mile!
