2006 MC with the John Cooper Works exhaust package. Includes special intake and air filter. If I move to California, will it pass exhaust inspection as is? If I have to install a smog pump (or whatever it is called) how many dollars am I looking at??

You're set. My '04S has a 15% pulley and Dinan airbox. It doesn't get a second look at the smog station, and passes with flying colors.
Smog pumps went out in the 70's.

 

You mean the JCW Sound Kit? All MINIUSA OEM equipment is 50 state legal emissions. Actually, I have the same kit on my 2006 R52 non-S, installed here by the dealer.

 

Yes, the sound kit. Dealer installed here as well, and a great investment as there is no corrosion on it 8 years into ownership.
