Drivetrain Manic Tune in AZ
Manic Tune in AZ
We convinced a local shop here in Tempe, AZ to look into becoming a dealer for Manic and very glad we did. Before mentioning it here, he wanted to use a few of us local cars as test subjects, to learn the tuning process, run some dynos of each stage and get feedback. So after 3 GP2s and Go-Cart's JCW he's very happy with his relationship with Manic and the results of the cars, so if you are interested, look up Jerry at EuroTechs, eurotechsaz.com, he's got switches in stock. He's a great guy and very highly thought of by the MINI owners around here.
I have attached dyno sheets of my car, 2013 GP2, stock, stage 1, stage 2 and stage 2+ (Map C with race gas) The numbers have been very reproducible and comparative between cars. Check out my stage 2+ with Go-Carts sheet posted in a different thread. I ran my car 2 days after tune at a local track day and can say was very happy with results. Car runs just like stock, but faster. After that, and in town driving in the AZ heat, the car has not given me any oddball tuned behavior. Really looking forward to Fall and some cooler weather.
This is not my first MINI and I have spent a lot of money on Mods but I can say this is by far the best bang for the buck I have spent. So look up Jerry and give him a call if you are in the market. Oh, and this is my first attempt at a thread, so please excuse any problems. Thanks

It really is. Just traction issues even with track tires. Going to play with it next week at another track day and switch between the stage 2 tunes. Very happy with the Manic product. Looking forward to more from them when they have ready. Nick is very accessible. I like that.

Impressive, I found two places that carry 100 octane near my house so this looks to be more enticing.
