Death Cry for HPFP?

I started up my 2007 MCS this morning and could hear a harmonic sound all the way from the drivers seat with windows closed, I opened the hood to try and pinpoint where it was coming from and it seems (almost 100%) to be coming from the HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump), has anyone heard this noise before? Car runs smooth and idles perfect, somebody must know from personal experience what this sound is. Mechanical destruction of HPFP before loss of fuel pressure? I'm aware that Mini USA has extended the HPFP to 10 years or 120,000 miles whichever comes first. It's got 53,000 miles.

I realised half way through the upload that my video was set at UHD 4K.

Even though the pump has an extended warrenty, motoring magic, a vendor on another site, has said you can buy pumps for $225, and swap them out with about an hours labor.... So about a $300-320 fix...and you do not have the issue of waiting for mini to OK the repair, and do not have to leave the car overnight to see if it has a start issue or leaves them a code on startup...so no risk of getting denied coverage then getting charged a diagnostic fee....
So might make sense to forgoe the warrenty for pure lack of hassle....
Not sure about the sound or the symptoms... But the part has come down in price so much...jumping through hoops to get it covered might not be worth it.....

Alright but how do I detach the main fuel line that attaches for what looks like a quick disconnect with two pegs that need to be compressed inward in order to get off? It seems to slide a little back and forth.
