Passenger seat sensor bypass for 06 r52. What do I need?
Hi everyone. My passenger seat sensor is busted, and I would like to bypass the sensor, disable the seatbelt warning, and reset the airbag code.
What all do I need for an 06 r52? Seems some of the reset tools and bypass units are listed as only for 05 and earlier. Is that true? If so, what do I need for a later "post facelift" 1st gen mini?
Thanks for the help!

The only known ways to clear the warning are:
- Replace the sensor mat
- Disable the warning with NCS Expert software
Thank you for the link! I read through the whole thread, and yeah, looks like it's:
1) Buy a USB k+dcan cable from
Ecutool. com for 30 bucks.
2) follow the instructions to make the passenger airbag act like a euro spec car (ignore seat sensor, and fire passenger airbags if seatbelt is buckled).
3) don't be an idiot and lock a baby seat backward in the front seat.
The sensor mat resistor only worked for that guy because he had an older pre-facelift model.
Cable shipping from china now. Wish me luck :D
