I have a 2004 Cooper S with no hitch and a friend with a 2007 Cooper S from which he has removed the curt hitch and he wants to give it to me. Will a hitch for a 2007 fit a 2004?

 

It's been a while since I bought mine, but I don't believe so. If I'm not mistaken your reverse light is in the middle of your bumper while the 2007 model has it integrated in the taillights. Aside from that, I also remember the hitches being specific for the R53 and the R56
