MOAR HP without a turbo....

After some reasearch...apparently putting a turbo in a Non-S is a bad idea, (they say the engine cant handle it etc) Now wether this is true or not, beats me. (im fairly new to most of this kind of stuff)

Anywho, what all is a good idea to add more power without getting a turbo? Recently got a 2011 MINI (R56) and would like to add whatever I can to it. So far I got BBS Rims, NM Engineering Coilovers and an upgraded exhaust (person before me put it on so I honestly dont know which kind it is, will find out soon though)

Obviosuly an Intake is a go to choice but any other good suggestions? everyone seems pretty nice on here so far lol.

Here she is....

Interesting, this car has a turbo, but many of the advantages could be had without that and just the electric supercharger,...
