i bought SC from "Belgium" on 5/22, i was able to track up to 5/27 since then no update. DHL in Germany indicates that it arrive in US Port on 5/27/14.
Anyone had ever order or bought parts from UK? Your comments and experiences really helpful... im fricking out now my guts telling me i get ripped-off/scam.

 

I've had pkg sit at port for over a week, I wouldn't sweat it too much...

 

Have you heard of U.S. Customs, rt808? Be patient.

 

Thanks for the assurances, my MCS been out for over 2 months now i don't know if i will be able to put it back together.... in pieces bolts here and there...wiring connections/socket etc.. Never thought it will take me this long to decide either sell the whole car or part it out or buy this Supercharger.

I never had any problems other than an occasional delay. From Germany, some shipments take over five weeks, and from UK I usually received parts from DHL in a less than a week (depending express shipping or not). One issue I had was that DHL required a signature to be on file so it that took a couple of extra days for the driver to drop off form and return for delivery. Once I signed it, future deliveries no signature required. If it is not properly labeled, Auto Parts, or something like that, customs can hold it until they figure it out.

And a couple of weeks after you receive your product, DHL sends a bill to you for US customs charges (usually less than $20).


Last, European countries will charge 20% VAT (Value Added Tax 20% in UK) or 20% GST (Goods and Service Tax) is automatically charged if you bought it in Europe), some shippers to not charge it if shipping to US, you can apply for a refund from that country, but usually more of a pain than it is worth.
