zionistmovement, not sure about the cheapest place. Sure about this though. Price difference between cheapest and most expensive is probably less than 10%. No definitive research here but probably pretty close. There are several dealers that can offer you more than just the lowest price. Oh hell, I'm preaching. Find someone you are comfortable with and can trust and don't sweat a few bucks. The difference is less than you would pay in sales tax in most places and their knowledge, expertise, and advice is worth far more. Sorry about the preaching.

I used Randy Webb at http://www.webbmotorsports.com/about.php

Nice guy, VERY helpful, has a lot of knowledge, and he tests all parts he sells. will tell you not to buy something if you don't need it.

A little hard to get a hold of some times but in my opinion it is worth making the rquired number of calls to reach him.

Ryan, thanks.
I like the Alta intake fine. Sounds great. Looks good. Assume (yeah, I know) it does what they claim performance wise. No dyno runs, my buttmeter is way subjective.
Other stuff:
Oil catch can
Borla Race Exhaust. Sounds waaaaay good. (That subjective/personal preference thing)
19% pulley. Buttmeter schmuttmeter. Huge difference.
Plugs
Rear sway bar
Springs
Short shift
Wheels and tires
Few interior odds n' ends, tint, etc.

Hey Tomslick,

Does the pulley void the warranty? Does it put alot of stress on the head gasket and supercharger due to increased boost?

I don't know the definitive answer to any of your questions, but here are my thoughts.
Warranty is going to depend alot on how cool your dealer is and what broke. If your radio quits:smile:, if your water pump goes out.

I would certaily think the increased boost and power adds more stress to just about everything to one degree or another, like TIRES , and everything else between there and the supercharger. How adversly it affects your car is going to depend more on your driviing style than anything else.

I never "pop" the clutch or "power shift". Speed shift of course, but I let off the throttle.

I don't take it to red line that often. With the 19% there is lots of low end grunt so I spend lots more time in the lower rpm ranges than before. Don't misunderstand though, I drive the s**t out of it, just in my way of thinking, I don't abuse it. I think there's a difference. It does see a lot of near red line during AutoX, but it's not for that long.

Like I said, this puppy may grenade tomorrow, if it does, I guess I'll fix it!
Take whatever help the dealer will offer and understand if I've done something to cause a failure, well..................... Superchargers are available thanks to the JCW folks, and a head gasket ain't that bad a fix.

Only my way of thinking.
