No More "Popping" Sound on All4 S?

My family had a non-All4 2011 CM S. That great popping sound when the car coasted on sports mode was something I enjoyed... However since I got my 2014 All4 S CM I rarely hear the popping sound anymore... Thoughts?

I have 2014 All4 CM and it still has popping sound when in sport mode. If I set at light and rev engine it pops. I haven't noticed the pops being any less than my 2010 Cooper S.

how many miles? maybe the exhaust needs to 'break in'

My 2012 stopped popping/gurgling after a recent update to the ECU! Kinda pisses me off! :(

They killed it on JCW first now it looks like they have gotten around tonte rest. The no "why" is the most irking part.

Will it still pop with an aftermarket exhaust?

My 2014 all4 , pops , but not near as much or as loud as my 2012 Roadster did.... The Roadster snapped and popped so loud it scared me on a few occasions ..

Not sure if it play a factor, but could it be because the rear of the Countryman is a lot further back than the Hardtop and definitely the roadster. The exhaust note is there, we just picked one up yesterday, and in sport mode it pops...

My 2013 CM S pops and gurgles in sport mode and it's been to the dealership several times for maintenance (oil changes, updates, etc.). I still have the stock exhaust.

Cheers
