Hi,

Since nobody makes a Magnaflow cat-back system that you can just buy, I decided to go to a local shop and do a custom exhaust.

What you hear in the video is:
- Magnaflow muffler
- Resonator delete
- wider piping from the cat to the muffler by 0.5" from the stock

I really like the sound and it is fun shifting through those gears. I have always driven manuals and this is the first tiptronic I bought. At first it was fun and then I got bored with it. Then I decided to modify the exhaust system and now it is fun shifting the gears

Magnaflow does make a cat-back system for the non-s. For some reason they specify that it is for the coupe only, but that's not true. It should fit on all 2nd gen non-s coopers.

Anyhow, your exhaust sounds like a great improvement over stock. Nicely done.

 

That does sound great. I could not find a cat back system at their website, they make only the center exit for the "S"
